Decimals Matter

This is some really cheap beer. According to the sign, the beer costs almost one penny for a can. I'm sure the station means either 99¢ or $.99. #nomadsnonsense #beer #naturallight #cheapbeer #salemarkansas #learnmath #decimals

Scoope of Ice Cream

Thanks to @imagreer for this one. Whether they spell it "scoope" or "scoop," I want ice cream. #nomadsnonsense #spelling #bigred #scoop #scoope #icecream #bigredstore #arkansas

Pronouns

"Anyone" is singular; therefore, "their" should be "his," "her," or "his/her." Many style guides now allow using "their" in the singular since "his" excludes females, "her" excludes males, and "his/her" is awkward. It is still incorrect, however, to switch from one person to another. "Anyone" is in the 3rd person, "their" is in the 3rd person, and "you" is in the second person. #nomadsnonsense #pronouns #pronounantecedentagreement #pronounagreement #pets #person #thirdperson

Female

If a math teacher uses "female" once and "femail" once when writing a math problem for college students, how often is she correct? #nomadsnonsense #proofread #female #spelling #statistics #femalesharks #femail
