The subject of the sentence in the red bar is STORMS. The verb is HAS. These do not agree. The verb should be HAVE.

"Teachers describes" demonstrates a subject/verb agreement problem. Ironically, this is an article sent out to parents of middle schoolers demonstrating which qualities make a school great. Grammar wasn't mentioned. 

Not only do we have iodine-131 in our milk with which to contend.  Now, Wal-mart subjects us to a split infinitive. The infinitive TO TREAT is split by the word NOT.
