Ending with a Preposition

The custom is that one should not end a clause with a preposition. This likely is because if one ends a clause with a preposition, either a prepositional phrase has been separated or the preposition is unnecessary. In this sentence, I think ending in a preposition is preferable to rewriting a stuffy sentence such as No matter from where you are, we're glad you're our neighbor. #dupontcircle #nomadsnonsense #prepositionalphrases #preposition #endwithapreposition #breakinggrammarrules
