Thanks, Amber, for your careful attention to the incorrect/unnecessary use of the apostrophe. Apostrophes do not make plurals.
Upon revisiting this blog entry, I realized that there is another error in this sign. Prepay before pumping is redundant. It should be "pay before pumping" or simply "prepay. "
what is it with all these people just tossing the apostrophe randomly throughout sentences?! Did NO ONE take English 101 in this state? It makes me laugh...but is a little sad as well. :(
